Grassington Lodge enjoys a great location close to the town centre and the Dales Way, and many guests find it a good value for money. Some rooms, like Vendale 1, offer spacious layouts with seating areas and handy fridges. The accommodation is very clean and provides comfortable beds for a good night's sleep, though a few guests have noted that the decor in some rooms could benefit from modernisation. Parking on-site is a definite plus, making it easy to explore nearby cafes and shops.

The location is superb for walks, and pubs are just a short stroll away. Our room had a LOVELY view and a fridge which i did not anticipate. I also found crockery, glasses, and cutlery available in the hallway.

The host provided clear check-in details via text. This was convenient. cutlery and crockery were available, a nice touch. a mini fridge in the room proved to be useful. the fridge held water, greatly appreciated after long walks.
the floorboards creaked a lot. the decor looks a little old. i found no staff present, feel less personal.

lovely stay

convenient parkingironing boardsmall car park
i found parking very convenient and close to the town center. the room included a mini fridge as well as an iron with an ironing board. i thought the self check-in and checkout system functioned efficiently.
i noticed the car park was quite small. it seemed that there were only about eight spaces available for around thirteen bedrooms.

the hotel has very close proximity to the town centre and dales way. i could easily walk to pubs offering tasty grub and reach some of the best locations for walks. the area was quiet and warm.
Rooms

i was very happy with my classic double room and it had a lot of space. the wi-fi connection worked well and i could watch both televisions without any problems. the room had warm atmosphere despite the weather.
Dining

there was plenty of tea coffee hot chocolate and milk available on the tea tray. i found this selection sufficient for my needs during my three-night stay. the availability of warm beverages was a real treat.

Acceptable Stay, Notable Issues

excellent locationbroken heatingpoor soundproofing
The location was excellent with easy access to nearby attractions.
The heating was not working in my room, and the bathroom remained very cold (this made showering unpleasant). Despite reporting the issue to staff multiple times, it was never resolved . the soundproofing was poor, so I could hear noises from adjacent rooms quite clearly.
